Working with Jeff has been a pleasure. We knew we had the right trainer from day one when we saw him work with our dog for the first time. What we've learned, though, is our time with Jeff was mostly for training US. He equipped us with everything we need to work with our boy. If you take notes and really watch Jeff with your dog, you too will see remarkable results. You have to do the homework! We live near Atlanta and recently added a 12 week old Yorkshire Terrier to our family and while a sweet dog, she could be quite the little terror. With Jeff's knowledge of how to properly train our dog, we have seen a night and day difference in her behavior. Superior is definately the one to call.
Jeff with Superior Dog Training saved the life of my weenie-pit mix, Jackson. Jackson ran the house and had complete ownership of me. He could not be trusted around any children, ate the furniture, attacked our other dogs, and even got aggressive towards my husband. He had become so aggressive that we were concerned that he was going to hurt someone and we would have to put the dog down. Jeff was his last chance. Jeff tested the dog for temperament and put together a plan to help. With the in home training we (I) learned that I was basically a dog bone and not the leader. I resisted cages and leashes (although their leashes are awesome) but soon learned that he was right. We saw great changes in Jackson as well as our other dogs, thanks to the things Jeff taught us. We can have company over and not worry about rude dogs or someone getting bit. Best of all, Jackson is a happier guy! Thank you very much!
Jeff started helping us with our golden retriever Oscar when Oscar he was 10 weeks old. Our dog was very much an active puppy who loved to jump on us, our furniture and puppy bite everything including our son. Jeff has worked magic with Oscar. People come to our house and cannot believe how calm our 6 month old puppy is! We would definitely recommend Jeff to anyone looking for help with their animals!

Lifesaver When we called Superior Dog Training we were at our wits end with our adopted dog Hope. We could not walk her without her dragging us down the street and she would not follow any commands. She had been to other dog training facilities with no luck. After just 3 training sessions they have taught "us" how to control her on walks and various other behavior problems. We still have more training to go and we look forward to completing the program. I would recommend them above any of the other so called "training facilities" that we have tried. In-home training seems to be the way to go.
We have a very high energy Jack Russell Terrior formerly known as Devil Dog. Max had aggression issues, dominant alpha male issues and a very big stubborn streak. We were just about to the point where we were going to have to make a very painful decision about Max since he had bitten someone. Our last attempt to save Max was to call in Jeff at Superior Dog Training. Jeff has literally saved Max. Jeff has worked with training Max and both my husband and I. Max listens to commands and has turned out to be a loving dog. The change has been amazing and we no longer have a devil dog. My 78 year old mother is even able to keep Max on occasion and he will listen to her give him commands. For anyone with a problem dog Jeff with Superior Dog training is diffinitely the answer to your problems. He has performed a miracle with Max.
Jeff @ Superior Dog Training is a great teacher and trainer! It was amazing to see what he could do with our two wild pups right off the bat. And he taught me how to do the same. He's helping us bring a level of sanity to the house and we are so thankful.
I had the first dog training session with Superior Dog Training and realized what are the things which I though I was doing right were not really right..... After the first session I realized that you need a professional dog trainer to analyze things.. and correct them..this is what happened yesterday...Today I went for walk with my 7 month old lab and implemented the methods suggested by my trainer, and they work really well......Looking forward to next class......
Jeff at Superior Dog Training has worked with our min schnauzer pup (now 4 months old). She was beginning to develop some significant behavioral problems and we were very concerned these habits were becoming permanent. As with many mini schnauzers she is very strong minded and was not listening to us. It was beginning to look like we were not going to be able to get her to do anything we wanted. It was amazing to watch Jeff take control, and see that she was actually doing what he wanted her to do. The great thing about Jeff is he has taught us how take control. My little "PJ" (pomeranian) was out of control - thought he was the "man in charge". He responded to discipline in a very negative way and we were headed for trouble with a capital "T". I went online and found Superior Dog Training. Jeff, the owner, is a truly nice guy with a special gift for training dogs in a upbeat and non-cruel way. After three weeks with Jeff at Paw (boot) Camp, PJ is a wonderful pet. His spirit was not broken, but he actually listens and behaves. I have two labs that were great around the house but I was embarrassed to take them out. Jeff at Superior Dog Training came out and worked with them. Jeff with Superior Dog Training has changed our lives. We can now enjoy our lab pup and more "mature" basset/spaniel, and what is even better is that they now enjoy each other. He always pulled on the leash, chased after birds, and was on his own agenda. At the first session, it was amazing to see how Jeff had my 1yr 4mth old high energy dog walking without pulling chasing or jumping. All of this without using any treats. Jeff seems to know what dogs think and why they do the things they do. This is helping me to become a much better owner for my dog. Now after 4th sessions walking my dog has become so much easier. Little did we know that we were already starting bad habits just by be a 'loving' parent. Jeff showed us how to have a loving pet with manners. I am amazed by Jeff. He is excellent at what he does. He is not a dog trainer, he is a dog psychologist. I was able to notice a difference in my dogs within 3 minutes. I have 2 dogs who are very stubborn, and one of them with some fear-aggression issues. One of my dogs would not even walk past another dog\'s front door. I would literally have to carry him past the door. Now he walks right past it as if it were never a problem. I am now the dogs\' leader. They listen to me. They are so calm. After years of challenges with our dogs and their lack of manners, we are happy to report that after four sessions with Jeff our two dogs are much calmer and more responsive to us. Jeff has taught, and continues to teach us how to communicate our needs to our dogs.

We adopted a rescue dog in Oct. Sombra had never been socialized or lived in a household until she had been turned over to the breed rescue group at approx 15 mths of age. We are dealing with a variety of issues, including recognizing who is really in charge in our house all the time. The first session started a positive change and after 4 sessions we are seeing alot of progress both in her willingness to listen to commands and her issue with avoiding men. While Sombra is a good dog and non-agressive, she has a massive stubborn streak from being left on her own for the first 15 mths of her life. We are confident Jeff will train all all of us so we have a happy, confident household.
I met Jeff at a dog training meet up group that he held for free for people with dog problems, or those interested in dog training. Jeff was so generous, worked with all the many dogs. I was amazed b/c after 5 minutes of Jeff working with Ozzie I no longer recognized my dog. He was sitting and staying on command. I was sold, and since Jeff has been a god sent once a week for me and my dogs, and my dogs and I, are thrilled!
I have a 5 year old Goldendoodle that was dog aggressive. I was referred to Superior Dog Training by another dog trainer because I needed someone in the Atlanta area that did in-home dog training for aggressive dogs. In the short time that we have been working with Jeff, their has been an enormous difference in my dog's behavior. He is very different from other trainers in that he senses the dog's personality and attitude and picks up on signals that we never even knew existed. Jeff has taught me how to interact with my dog and take control of any situation. Not only is he a fantastic dog trainer, but it is obvious that he really loves dogs and my dog loves him too!

Jeff has done an excellent job training my dog, Hooch. My dog was very aggressive towards men and after 3 sessions Hooch has become more tolerant of men. He has calmed down and can relax when men come into a room. I am sure when we are through with all the dog training sessions Hooch will be a wonderful dog to have around. Thank you Jeff!
